This are one of places which I need not introduce to Jonathan huh..? hehe..but Im introducing it to everyone else..although its actually an "old" restaurant,which is well known by everyone on earth..but somehow it is different to me..cause I used to work here at Dome Cafe located at Island Plaza in Penang..working there was a enjoying experience..and somehow tiring as well..during the weekends especially where we even postponed our lunch,..Remember that? hehe..
Well..above are some of the pictures of the food served in Dome Cafe..or rather a few of their specialties..Too bad there are no pictures of drinks..as they serve a variety of drinks on the menu which are really good..such as the Apple Crush and the Cranberry Cooler..both are my favourite while I was working there..hehe..
The first picture shown is the Spicy Olio with a choice of pasta of Spaghetti or Linguini,and also a choice to top off with Bacon Bits of Turkey Ham..this item is one of the most popular dishes in Dome..when I was working there..those new comers and also regulars will order that..and we mostly recommend it to our customers when they are asking for pastas..
Next one would be the Carrot Cake..which is One of my favourites..MmmmMmm..the Cream on top is the best part and goes well with the carrot cake..it is best served when its slightly hot and fresh..looking at it makes me wanna eat it now too..hehe..
Then there is the Nasi Lemak with a choice of Beef Rendang or Chicken..it comes with Rice,Prawn Crackers, Peanuts, two hard boiled eggs, sambal and cucumbers..this is one of the most worth it dish to order here in Dome..cause its very filling and appetizing..both the beef rendang and the chicken are really tender and i think i love the beef reandang..hehe..
There is also the Chicken Pot Pie..another famous dish in Dome Cafe..this cost around Rm19.90 per plate..if im not wrong..hehe..kinda outdated on the pricing..but somehow also worth it to order..it comes with a bowl of creamy soup with chicken,corns and mushrooms in it..and topped of with puff pastry,on the side dish..there are vegetables which consist of tomatoes,carrots and brocollies cooked in butter..Mmm..Sounds good huh?
The rest of the dishes served are The Lot Burger, the mix grain Sandwich, wild mushroom soup, Ceasar Salad which comes with a sour sauce which taste really good with the salad, and even some side dishes such as sausage rolls and puff pastries..

Oh yea... I remember... I gotta say... The Nasi Lemak's good, though it only comes with a boiled egg sliced half... If two, Muahahah EGGMAN(me) is lovin it... Still remember that we always ask Darren to give us puff pastry for dinner... Then sneak into kitchen for the chicken pie gravy?? Yum yum!! LOL, last time's apple crush is much better than now... And the cranberry cooler is bigger and definately my fav!! FYI, dome is famous for it's coffee, so do try out the Coffee Twister, Flat White, and the yummy Affogato... Seriously TRY THEM!! For the Carrot cake>> Good! *coming from someone who don't eat veggies!!
Lol..you sounded even more excited than I am..haha..but yeah..those were the good times..I still remember eating lots of things at the kitchen..hahaha..and for those customers who eat this is gonna kill us for "stealing" food in the kitchen..haha..I havent been to dome for quite some time..bout a two months actually..maybe gonna go again soon..
