Its Dad's birthday yesterday (1st May).. We went to Eden restaurant at Hutton Lane for dinner..the food was good..hehe..i miss the lamb..yum..my Dad had the tunisian lamb..which is the top 3rd picture from left..its much better than mine..Lol..mine was the first picture..the grilled lamb chops..as for my dear..he had chicken and fish combo (the second picture from the right)..which is I guess not bad..cause I didnt try..Lol..as for brother..he had the Steak..which is really tender!! Yum...We shared the Escargots which is really juicy and nice..hehe..all together 12 snails...hehe..its good..should try it if any of you haven't tasted it before..As for the top picture..its the Shells waterfall..hehe..nice isnt it..? Imagine its been so many years...Im not sure how many thou..30 years? the place is still in good condition..especially those lightings and decorations..I miss those old times with my family..
Hehe..Yeah I know..Again at Swensens..but I guess I cant help it..the food is not bad..though the steak is not that tender today..Brother had Seafood Pasta..which is actually not bad..but he said it tasted local..Lol..Mum had Fish Baked rice..but didnt take a picture of it..this time..we had the Earthquake again..hehe..How High..? 8.0 on the scale..! Erm..flavours..as usual..not gonna state them again..this time they served it with dry ice as decoration..so I cant really take a clear picture of those ice creams..but anyway..they still taste good..hehe..yum..!!
Here it is again! My second round at Swensens! Hehe..This time I went for dinner..had BBQ Half Chicken..and my dear had Beef Baked Rice..! Yum..oh and my uncle had Spaghetti Aglio Olio..=) Didnt take a picture of it though..As he was so busy eating it..I didnt expect the food to be that good..cause I remember I went there once long time ago for the food..and the helping was too much that even when 3 people is sharing..its still too much..lol..but this time..its really good..and as for the ice cream..this time..we ordered The Topless 5! Flavours? Erm..butterscotch(again) =), strawberry, Tint Mint, Sticky Choco Mix and Orange Sherbet..hehe..sounds good huh..? Yum...
Few days ago..Saturday to be precise..I went to a Japanese restaurant called Hana Yoshi and Soba Yoshi..Hehe..The white tuna is good..but I wouldnt say its fantastic..cause its a little too frozen..but the salmon is good..hehe..yum..I had Sukiyaki for my main course and he had Curry Chicken Katsu for his main course..As for my uncle..he had Nabeyaki Soba..which i didnt take any picture of it..hehe..else he is gonna say Im so troublesome..lol..and that sushi..it is one of the dish included in the Nabeyaki Soba Set..its delicious..hehe..Oh yes..the restaurant is located at Crystal Point..so go try it out!
Yummy..! After so many years..I finally tasted the ice cream from Swensens AGAIN! Its been so many years since I last been to Swensens when they have a branch at Mount Pleasure in Penang..I was only around 7-8 years old at that time..Lol..During that time, my family are regulars at Swensens..
This time I had it at Gurney Plaza's Swensens Outlet..a Regular Earthquake, sharing with my bf and uncle..yum..my uncle's a big fan of Swensens ice cream too..hehe..There are all together 8 scoops for the Earthquake..but I cant recall what flavours we ordered..I think there is butterscotch, peanut buttercup, lime sorbet, blueberry, mocha, mint, sticky chewy chocolate, cookies and cream..yeah..I guess thats about it..hehe..but its not up to my expectation thou..
It was better then..compare to now..but its alright..gonna have more some other day..Yum!
Oohhh..! If I were at the Chocolate Fair..you will see me drooling all the way..*slurp*..Yum..
Can you see the Chocolate Fondue Fountain? Yummy..I tried it before but not in Paris (of course!) but in KL instead..where you can dip your strawberries and marshmallows in it..*slurp*..cant help it..I feel like Im drooling now..! The Chocolate artwork of the Eiffel Tower is amazing..I wonder how they do it..? *hmm* Wonder if I can order them directly from Paris..Lol..Its just too tempting for me..I would have spent all my money for those chocolates if I were to attend the fair..! Those square shaped chocolates are really nice..And yes you can now say Im a Foodholic! Anyway, Thanks Connie for the email of the Paris chocolate fair..=)
One of the Suites in Parkroyal Penang Hotel.. Too bad I went there during the night and its raining..else i could have taken a picture of the garden..which is..damn big! Here I only have the picture of the bedroom and bathroom..the bathroom is big..but there is no bathtub..lol..
but its nice..the door is unique..as for the bedroom..there is a LCD Screen in front of the bed..hehe..yeah..it is..there is also another small bed beside the study table..but that picture is not clear..as for the living room..it looks a little messy..therefore..no picture..lol..but its also has a LCD Screen and as i mention above..the balcony has a garden..=) Oh..I forgot to mention the name of the suite..its called "Lenai"..cost bout 1k++ per day..but there is a 50% off on that day..hehe..by the way..Im not the one staying...lol..
